This role is will be working as a Data Quality Lead within The Chief Data Office for Technology, a newly created function within a large multi-national banking organisation, this team will be reporting to the Group CIO, demonstrating the value of the data agenda for technology across the organisation.
within the team in the CDO for Tech, you will be supporting the capture and maintenance of Data control, Lineage and Authoritative Data Sources in order to comply with the organisations Group Data Management Policy and its 7 associated standards. Some of the duties involved with this role are representing CDO team in all data quality and data governance meetings and forums throughout the organisation, ensuring effective data quality rules are identified with appropriate and sustainable thresholds to continuously measure the data quality standards and to work closely with the technical teams across various locations to ensure data quality standards and rules are adequately implemented and tracked. These are a selection of the duties involved within this role, there are others however I wanted this advert to be shorter than War & Peace.
In terms of skill requirements for this role, you will need a clear understanding of data quality and data modelling, extensive knowledge of process and control engineering, ideally on a Ab Initio platform and on a global scale and strong hands on experience with Visio and creation of data maps.
