Therefore it comes to no surprise that using AI technology in fraud detection is essential to combating criminal fraud.
My client is a leader in the financial sector and based in Northampton. The role would be within the fraud detection team, a team responsible for creating one of its kind AI fraud detection technology. Technology that will result in saving over £100 Million in the next 3 years. Importantly for you, this technology will put you at the forefront of change within the FinTech space.
In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.
E2E Architecture - This role will have a strong focus on providing in-house solutions and working with coding teams to establish coding standards. Having experience using TOAGF or similar would desirable but not essential.
Technology - The Fraud detection team are currently leveraging Java and so past experience in Java would be essential.
Stakeholder Management - Due to this organisation developing solutions on an enterprise scale, you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Having strong communicational skills to relay information to technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business is essential.
