We are currently recruiting for Software Engineers to take responsibility for the delivery of features and capabilities in a Global Fraud Identity and Verification API Platform.
You will be responsible for hands-on coding of platform components which shields both customers and the organisation against fraud through detection and prevention, using the latest technology to leverage truly connected data and deliver the right decisions and outcomes, as well as integrating this platform across multiple products they supply.
This is also a leadership role, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Software Engineers in managing business requirements to understand how system requirements fit within overall business solutions and in managing requirements to understand how both functional and non-functional aspects (e.g. capacity, availability, response times) need to be met. You will also be responsible for mentoring Software Engineers and you will need to be comfortable challenging any requirements that are incomplete or do not provide sufficient clarity to support effective software development.
In terms of specific requirements for the role, they are looking for the following experience:
* Good knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles, as well as an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Any knowledge of building platforms of microservices and public RESTful APIs.
* Knowledge of JDK 8/9/10, SpringBoot, MongoDB, Cucumber, Gradle, Docker.
