I am working in partnership with a global leader in the financial sector based in Knutsford. The role will be to develop microservices which support DevOps pipelines. You will lead a small team of developers to define and engineer these applications, whilst working alongside architects.

In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted some key skills they are looking for.

Java - My client is looking for those not only passionate about object orientated programming. But also keen on working with other talented engineers to widen your expertise.

Spring/Micro services - Due to the enterprise nature of my clients work collaboration between one another is needed to exceed the customer's needs. As a result Microservices allows developers to work autonomously and make decisions quicker. Therefore experience in Microservices would be beneficial.

Eager to learn new skills - My client prides themselves on being able to deliver on award winning training. Learning new skills and technology keeps us keen and adaptable. Which ultimately gives you wider career opportunities.

In return, you will benefit from a competitive base salary (between £65,000-£85,000) alongside a non-contributory pension (10%), annual discretionary bonus 15%-20%, private healthcare and flexible working hours with 1-2 Days remote work.
