This is a Sales Engineer role for one of our clients based out of Chicago, they are aiming to recruit for their newly set up London office in Hackney. They are a specialist in developing and marketing consumer engagement technology for brands and retailers, essentially used to collect and display customer ratings and reviews, and are used by more than 1000 companies globally.
This is a somewhat multifaceted role focusing on a strong Front End technical background, involving spending around 60% of your time on implementation (running 3-4 projects at a time), 20% on support and 20% on solution consulting, with the support aspect involving troubleshooting tickets, however this is a minor aspect to the role.
The right person for this role needs to be somewhat of a jack of all trades, and also needs a flexible attitude since this is a new role and there may be some course corrections to make once it goes live, such as if it becomes clear that a heavier emphasis on tickets, or a heavier emphasis on implementation, ect. is required, you need to be open to the role evolving a little bit. There will be support from the main Chicago office, liaising with them everyday, at some point you would fly across to meet everyone once hired.
The interview process will involve a first stage phone call, then a second stage interview with 2 employees currently in the London EMEA office for an in-person interview, finishing with a third stage involving a virtual hangout with Senior Management from Chicago.
