The versatility and efficiency of Python makes it a top choice for some of the worlds most innovative and progressive tech organisations. I am currently working in partnership with a UK leader in the insurance sector, who are looking to hire Python engineers with experience in AWS. The roles are part of a recruitment drive to expand their digital function and facilitate a technological transformation.
The role is based in Bromley and sits within the Digital Team. A team with a start up mentality but a history of delivering ground breaking solutions. You will work alongside Testers, Developers and DevOps engineers and will use your experience with Python in a cloud native environment to help deliver DLG's technology transformation. Not only will these projects include collaboration with other talented engineers and senior stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of enterprise projects.
* Hands on in developing solutions with Python
* Provide SME knowledge in Python
* Implementing REST APIs within AWS
* Implementation and Automation of CI/CD pipelines
In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me two key skills they are looking for.
Python - My client is looking for those passionate about object orientated programming, and who are creative in their approach. Commercial experience with Python is essential.
AWS - Experience with AWS is preferred, but not essential.
In terms of culture, you will struggle to find somewhere better. Year on year my client invests into training their employees from the latest and greatest tech to leadership skills. Importantly, this is available to all. Which gives you the chance to cross-train and work on them technologies you have been itching to implement.
In return you will receive a competitive salary (£40,00- £75,000), 9% Non-Contributory Pension, 10% Bonus, 35 hour working week, 1 day remote work.
